Enumclaw Town and Trail 5/10K Walk

The route is on sidewalks, paved paths and road shoulders through historic residential areas of this quiet country town, and onto part of the Enumclaw section of the Foothills Trail. Sights include parks, murals depicting the town's logging history, beautiful historic homes, and breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier. We plan to take in some private gardens to enjoy the spring blooms.
Arrive early as the walk starts promptly at 10 am. The walk is 10K (6.2 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles). Pets on leash with cleanup. This is AVA walk Y1076 and rated 1A for flat, even walking surfaces.
Everyone must register before the walk. For those wanting IVV credit, the cost is $4.00. For others, a donation of $4.00 is encouraged to help pay for meet-up charges and walk box information are always welcome.
Directions: From I-5 exit 142A (SR18) to Auburn Way exit. Go left (south) 14 miles into downtown Enumclaw. Continue through two stoplights. The hotel is located one block further. From I-405 take SR169 exit driving south out of Renton. Drive 25 miles into Enumclaw. At the stoplight (Griffin Avenue) turn left and continue with directions above.
