Walk along the waterfront and creek trail in Des Moines 5K/11K

The route takes you through the marina, Des Moines Creek Waterfront Park, and the Des Moines Creek Trails. You will walk on sidewalks, road shoulders, and paved & dirt trails. This is an 11k (6.8 miles) walk rated 2B, which means fairly significant hills and some non-pavement surfaces. There is also a 5k (3.1 miles) option.

Arrive early as the walk starts promptly at 10 am. Use on-street parking.

Everyone is welcome, but everyone must sign the waiver to participate. The club has costs to put on these walks, so we ask for a suggested donation of $4.00. IVV/AVA credit is available at the customary fee $4.00.
