Mt. Rainier National Park Walk

6K / 10K walks in Mt. Rainier National Park. The walks start at the Cougar Rock Campground Picnic area. The 6K and the 10K both travel the Wonderland Trail to and from Longmire Lodge. This is a popular, well-groomed trail. The 10K will add an additional 4K going to and from Carter Falls. You will need either your National Park Pass or to pay the National Park entrance fee. Due to Park restrictions, registration will take place outside the National Park at Ashford County Park in Ashford, WA. The cost will be $4.00. Everyone must register. Walkers will be in groups of 10-12 and will be released every 20 minutes to start their walk. ** You might want to pack a lunch for the day.
Be aware that the later in the morning you come, the longer the wait could be to enter the Park.
