We're an active and friendly Humanism group in London, UK. Our well attended monthly humanist gatherings normally take place on the second Monday of each month. As well as these main meetings, we have plenty of other interesting activities too. We're a Partner of Humanists UK.
To attend meetings you don't have to join or become a member. You're especially welcome if you think you may in fact already be a humanist and want to find out more.

What can Humanists learn from Buddhism?
Richmond Library Annexe, Quadrant Road, Greater London, GBFor our main meeting in September we will be visited by a Buddhist monk, Ven.Bhikkhu Buddhadasa.
Despite his religious name, Ven.Bhikkhu Buddhadasa is a (down-to-earth) Brit.
Theravada Buddhism is the oldest school of this atheistic religion/philosophy, which has been around for about 2500 years. Our session is an opportunity to explore what humanists might learn from this ancient and sophisticated tradition. He teaches meditation, so we hope there will be an opportunity during the evening to experience a short taster.
