Discussion: "The right climate action: individual, national & global?"

Details
While the global temperature rises, views on action vary from do-nothing/"it's-all-a-conspiracy" climate change deniers, all the way to deep green eco-warriors. It's a global issue, but what are the most effective, politically-possible, actions that should be taken at personal, national and global level starting from where we are now? That's the question this discussion will explore. As always, the aim isn't to provide "The Answer" but to help everyone think it through. It is, after all, the great issue of our age.
8pm start at Richmond Library Annexe, Quadrant Road, Richmond TW9 1DH. (Entry fee £5 to help cover costs - concessions available.) And there's the usual opportunity for a drink afterwards.
