From a strict religious upbringing in a conservative Muslim country, to a humanist and activist in London, Aseel is a young ex-Muslim, now working with Faith to Faithless (the part of Humanists UK providing support for people leaving high control religions). She will share her story, her perspective on the current situation in her home country, and the latest from Faith to Faithless.
8pm start at Richmond Library Annexe, Quadrant Road, Richmond TW9 1DH. (Entry fee £5 to help cover costs - concessions available.) And there's the usual opportunity for a drink afterwards. There's no need to "RSVP" here on Meetup. Just turn up.
