We don’t focus on one niche or one type of activity - we already offer every kind of event imaginable, and we host something every single day. Our calendar is unmatched in its variety, from lively evenings out to relaxed daytime meet-ups, cultural and creative experiences, active and outdoor adventures, wellbeing and learning activities, and so many other ways to connect throughout the week.

How to Get Involved
Getting involved is easy - simply RSVP to any event you’d like to attend. You’re welcome to come along on your own, or with friends, a partner, family, or even work colleagues. Join in at whatever pace feels comfortable, and if you’re ever unsure where to start, the Organizers are always happy to offer a friendly nudge in the right direction.

📌 Group Guidelines
To keep our community safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all members to follow a few simple guidelines:

📸 Profile Photo Requirement
• A clear profile photo is required to join and stay in the group.
This helps everyone feel safe and comfortable meeting new people, and it helps us welcome you at events.

• Your face must be visible.
It doesn’t need to be formal — just a simple, friendly photo so members know who they’ll be meeting.

• Members without a clear photo will be removed.
You’re always welcome to rejoin once your profile is updated.

💛 Anti-Bullying & Kindness Policy

• Southampton Shenanigans is a kindness-first community.
Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and welcome at every event.

• Bullying, harassment, or unkind behaviour isn’t accepted.
This includes anything that makes another member feel uncomfortable, targeted, or unsafe — whether in person or online.

• If something doesn’t feel right, please speak to an Organizer.
We’re here to listen, support, and take action where needed.

• If someone’s behaviour repeatedly causes harm, they will be removed from the group - and we will always explain why.
We believe in being open, fair, and respectful, even when difficult decisions need to be made.

• We celebrate differences.
People of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities are welcome here — and we expect everyone to treat each other with care.

📆 🖊️ Attendance - Our 3-Strikes Policy

• If you RSVP “Attend”, please update your RSVP as soon as you know you can’t make it.
This keeps things fair, gives someone else the chance to join in, and helps us prepare to welcome you properly.

• We use a gentle 3-strikes system to keep events running smoothly.
If you RSVP “Attend” and miss three events without updating your status, you will be removed from the group. It’s not meant to be strict — it simply ensures spaces go to people who are genuinely able to come along.

• Updating your RSVP supports the whole group.
It means no one misses out on a space, Organizers can plan calmly, and everyone arrives to a more relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
