🕯️ Stillness — Walking & Moving Meditation in Nature

‼️
No limit on attendance! Just come and show up. Please message me before the event to let me know you’re coming, so I have an idea of the headcount.

What does stillness really mean?

Does it mean sitting completely still?

Or can we find a sense of stillness while walking, moving and simply being present?

Join us for a gentle November Walking & Moving Meditation at Victoria Country Park as we explore stillness through movement, nature, awareness and silence. 🌿

You don’t need any meditation experience, and there is no need to sit cross-legged or empty your mind.

Walking can be meditation. Movement can be meditation. And sometimes, simply pausing and being present can be meditation too.

🌿 What we’ll do

We’ll begin by coming together at Victoria Country Park, where I’ll explain the theme and the flow of the session.

Then we’ll take a relaxed walk through the park, gradually slowing our pace and bringing more awareness to our surroundings.

Along the way we’ll explore:

👣 Mindful walking — noticing our movement and gradually slowing down.

🌳 Quiet observation — taking time to notice the natural world around us.

👂 Listening & silence — giving ourselves a few moments without conversation and noticing what we hear when we stop trying to fill the silence.

🌀 Moving meditation — gentle, intuitive movement where we’ll explore whether we can experience stillness even while the body is moving.

🕯️ Moments of stillness — simply pausing, breathing and being present without needing to achieve anything.

💬 Reflection & connection — finishing together with a little time to share what we noticed, if we’d like to.

🕯️ What do we mean by stillness?

Stillness doesn’t necessarily mean being completely motionless.

Sometimes it can be the feeling of slowing down inside, even when life around us continues moving.

Today we’ll explore what happens when we give ourselves permission to pause, listen and simply be.

There is no right or wrong way to experience this.

You can participate as much or as little as feels comfortable for you.

🌿 Our journey

Walk → Slow → Pause → Listen → Move → Be Still → Reflect

Come alone or bring a friend or family member — everyone is welcome. ❤️

Wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for an outdoor walk, and bring water. November can be chilly, so bring an extra layer and something waterproof if needed.

Sunday 22 November, 14:00–15:30

Approximately 90 minutes.

Come and give yourself permission to slow down for a while.

Walk. Move. Pause. Breathe. Be. 🕯️🌿
