San Jose and South Bay Cohousing:Intentional Neighborhoods
Details
With hundreds of community houses in the SF Bay Area, and many more beyond, there is so much collective wisdom within our communal living ecosystem. But it can be difficult to harness that powerful experience and stand on each other’s shoulders without ways to gather and share learnings.
Join us for a 2-day conference with three parallel sessions, interactive activities, art, reflection, connection, refreshments and meal(s) where we aim to change that.

Cohousing Open Network Note*: while the primary focus of this event is on under-one-roof shared-home **#*coliving communities, we are participating to share lessons from cohousing and EcoVillages, bringing in Aging-in-Community experience and the emerging Social Housing movement. This is kicking off more than a week of community activities in the area, including an "East Bay Cohousing Crawl" visiting several communities in Berkeley and Oakland and Pleasant Hill on Sat 11/1, the Cohousing and Beyond summit in Sacramento Sunday 11/2, and an (un)Common Meal in a common house and a seniors-in-cohousing conversation with a visiting movement leader from New England. See our full calendar for more, and visit the Cohousing California and East Bay Cohousing websites for details -- Raines, your Cohousing Coach
