Need a sewing machine? The Mountain View Library has eight sewing machines (model: Baby Lock joy) and one serger that are available for use within the Library on a drop-in basis. Whether you’re working on a project or need to hem a garment, this casual, welcoming space is perfect for all skill levels. No registration required -- just bring your materials and drop in!
I and other volunteers will be there to guide you each step of the way.

In January, I guided a man who had never sewn before to repair his pajamas that had a large "L" shaped hole. He was very happy to have completed the project on his own.
They usually have three volunteers to guide you on your project.
