“It’s Going South” is a social meetup group hosting relaxed, friendly events across South Malta. The goal is simple: create a regular space where locals and newcomers can connect, unwind, and enjoy shared activities.
Every month we host a rotating mix of events including board game and poker nights, social drinks, easy coastal walks, and hobby meetups like trading card game exchanges. Some events are perfect for relaxing after work, while others are great for getting outside and exploring the south of the island.

You don’t need to bring friends — many people come alone and leave with new ones. Whether you’re Maltese, newly arrived, or have been living here for years, everyone is welcome.
