🍷 Welcome... If you're single, sociable, aged 40-62 (at time of joining) and live in Essex then you may be interested in joining our group - please read on...
We're all about meeting new people and making friends with plenty of fun & laughter along the way. We mostly achieve this while socialising over a few drinks in the best bars and pubs, or perhaps dancing the night away with a DJ, live band or tribute act, 🎶 💃
Whether its a free casino tribute evening (with DJ after), a 70s/80s night or a Karaoke evening you'll be guaranteed a brilliant time with like minded singles.
We also run occasional day trips, overnighters and longer breaks - all are lively and fun and offer timetabled sightseeing with pubs, meals and bar stops along the way - it's a great way to relax, socialise and get to know others 🍻🍴

Unlike other groups, all our events are well organised, highly reliable and properly hosted. We'll be ready to meet and greet you at the exact spot and time we say, have a chat and introduce you to others.

After attending two events, if you like us, appreciate our efforts and would like to come along to more of our events, our ONCE OFF joining fee is just £19.99.
We are all volunteers and freely give up our spare time. Your joining fee is much appreciated and helps towards our annual bill from meetup.com and other running expenses. "We do all the hard work and make it happen, all you have to do is turn up and enjoy"

◼️NEW APPLICATIONS...
New membership is only open to single, unattached people in the Essex area who are happy to supply a good profile photo of just themselves and are aged 40-62 at time of joining.
◼️RSVP (RULES)...
Your RSVP to an event means that we will be expecting you. Anyone who turns up unexpectedly (without an RSVP) or clocks-up multiple no-shows or lastminute cancellations will gain a reputation for being inconsiderate and unreliable and may be deleted from the group.
◼️BE FRIENDLY (RULES)...
Anyone who acts inappropriately or is unfriendly, argumentative or disrespectful (especially towards the organisers who give their time freely) will be deleted from the group.
NOTE: In line with meetup.com guidelines, group organisers have the right to deny or terminate memberships at their discretion (a reason would be provided).

The Terrace Bar & Restaurant, 1 Richmond Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, GBThis band will need no introduction ! Ultimate 80s will be hitting the high notes with genres across the decades. Always guaranteed to get everyone on that dance floor!
For those who've not been to the Terrace Bar before... it is Southend's best kept secret! Hidden off Southend High street, it has a great vibe, live music, serves food and has great service. We also have our own table and there is a dance floor in front of the stage 🥂🍷🥳!
So why not join us from 8:00pm for yet another spectacular evening of entertainment, drinks and dancing 💃🥂🎶

✪ MEETING SPOT & TIME ✪We'll have our own raised area by the dance floor.... walk in the front door (from the side street), towards the bar, and turn left. The raised area on the left-hand side is reserved in my name. If you enter from the car park, through the decking area, it's on the right as you go through the doors.
Your hosts will be standing around here from 8:00pm ready to meet and greet everybody. If you'd like to have a chat and get to know others then please arrive soon after 8pm as conversation and introductions can be difficult once the entertainment begins.
