About us

The Southern Utah Ski Club is a group of skiers who have the urge to make the perfect carving turn and enjoy the camaraderie of other like-minded individuals. We ski at Brian Head Resort near Parowan, UT. We usually have two regularly scheduled ski days every week. However, powder days may be scheduled when there is fresh powder. All events will be announced on this website.

Skiers of all abilities are welcome to join. The ski club Meetup group is sponsored by the Institute for Continued Learning (ICL). ICL membership is not required. If you would like to join ICL and take advantage of their course offering go the their website: https://icl.utahtech.edu/ There is no charge to join the Southern Utah Ski Club.

Participants are responsible for their own lift passes and transportation costs.

Ski Leader Matthew Asai has been an avid skier since he was about eight years old. Matt has lived in St. George since 2018 and has skied at Brian Head Resort since moving here.
