What we’re about
Calling all vegans and vegan curious in Brattleboro and surrounding areas! Our goal is to build in-person community with our fellow plant-based eaters via monthly potlucks. We're dedicated to animal rights and transitioning our food systems to ones that are ethical and environmentally sustainable. Zealotry is welcome, but not required for participation.
Please join the Southern Vermont Vegans as we gather for our September potluck dinner at the Williamsville Hall in the beautiful village of Williamsville, VT. The potluck is open to everyone who wishes to share a tasty vegan dinner. Please bring a dish or beverage to share with the group. Parking is on-street.
At this dinner, please consider supporting Compassionate Dining's efforts to host 2 to 3 speaking events this fall (dates to be announced soon), including a talk by folks from VINE Sanctuary. We will have a donation jar at the potluck for VINE sanctuary as well as muffin/pancake mixes from L.A.Britt Baked Goods for sale ($6/bag with all sales going to the sanctuary). If you can't make it to the potluck and want to buy baking mixes then contact compassionatedining@gmail.com. These speaking events are part of Compassionate Dining's efforts to expand demand for vegan-friendly options through education and awareness.
