Southwest Metro Sociale

Southwest Metro Sociale is a low-pressure social group for people in southwest metro Atlanta who are looking for genuine friendships, community, and reasons to get out of the house a little more.

I started this group because I noticed there aren’t many meetup groups centered around southwest metro Atlanta, and a lot of local people end up having to drive into Atlanta for social events and community. I wanted to create something more local, relaxed, and accessible for people down here.

This group is for anyone who enjoys casual hangouts, meaningful conversation, trying new things, and meeting kind, authentic people. Whether you’re new to the area, rebuilding your social life, introverted, extroverted, socially awkward, or just wanting more connection — you’re welcome here.

The goal is simple: create a comfortable, inclusive space where people can show up as themselves and hopefully leave with new memories, experiences, and friendships.
