Field trip leader Charlie Venuto will lead a walk to the Helen and Allan Cruickshank Sanctuary, part of the Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) properties. This field trip will focus on the Florida Scrub Jay and the memory and legacy of Helen and Allan Cruickshank.

Heads Up info: appropriate shoes are encouraged, the terrain is uneven and sandy so not the best for people mobility impaired, minimal shade ( hats/ sunscreen/ water bottles), no facilities, and limited parking (6 cars possibly). Please use caution and best of discretion if parking along the busy Barnes roadside.

That being said this is one of the best spots to see the Florida Scrub Jay.
