Panama: Birds, Sloths & Surprises!
Join us for a colorful journey through Panama, where Joel, Rochelle, and the rest of the birders visiting the Canopy Family tallied over 300 species during their trip. From toucans to tanagers—and even a few sleepy sloths—they’ll present a lively mix of bird highlights, cultural flavor, and fun stories about what brings this vibrant country to life. Joel and Rochelle will share striking photographs and stories of rare and colorful birds, along with memorable encounters that included bats, a boa, monkeys, and other wildlife. Beyond the birdlife, the program will also offer glimpses into Panama’s rainforest and lowlands.
