Season Closer Potluck and Reverse Book Club
As another season of birding and nature community gatherings comes to a close, we invite you to join fellow Audubon members and friends for an end-of-season potluck gathering. Come enjoy an evening of shared stories, laughter, and connection as we celebrate the memories and milestones of the past year together. Attendees are requested to bring a favorite dish, dessert, or snack to share with the group as we gather around good food and great company for one final flocking together before the next season takes flight. 🪶🍲

Reverse Book Club:
As part of our end-of-season potluck gathering, we’re also hosting a “Reverse Book Club” exchange inspired by the stories that connect us to birds, wild places, and the natural world. Participants are invited to bring a gently used book they’ve enjoyed related to nature, conservation, birding, travel, or outdoor adventure to exchange with another attendee. Along with the book, please include a short written note sharing what drew you to the topic or author, a favorite passage or moment, or why the book stayed with you long after the final page. Think of it as part book exchange, part field journal, and part campfire storytelling. 📚🪶

We’ll also have a digital media exchange table for those favorite stories that live beyond the printed page. Guests are encouraged to jot down recommendations on an index card or note card featuring a favorite podcast, audiobook, documentary, birding-related television series, YouTube channel, or other nature-inspired media. Share a few highlights about why it’s worth watching or listening to, and leave with a fresh list of trails to explore from the comfort of home or headphones. 🎧🌿

• Cheese and crackers
• Finger sandwiches
• Chicken wings
• Pigs in a blanket
• Desserts
