Join Central VA Spades at the JOY ON JUNETEENTH celebration hosted by Black Arts Market and For The Fem In You! This powerful event honors Black joy, freedom, and resistance through culture, creativity, and community. We’ll be there with cards in hand, bringing our signature mix of fun, connection, and good-natured trash talking. Whether you’re a seasoned spades player or learning as you go, pull up to a table and join a game!
Event Highlights Include:
- Spades games hosted by Central VA Spades
- Live music and spoken word performances
- Black-owned vendors, artisans, and farmers
- Hands-on art activities with Griot Goods
- Line dancing with Extreme Hip-Hop with Ashley
- Kids Zone for families
- Delicious food and sweet treats
This event is free to attend and open to all.
