With Spanglish, people can take part in our social and cultural events, which sets us apart from the traditional language schools and traditional meetups! We strive to empower students and participants to tackle challenges and take on new experiences. This enables them not only to practice their language skills but make new friends in a warm and friendly environment.
Events and lessons take place in London, Bogota and New York. Participants come to practice a foreign language in our organised meetings, which welcome professional language lovers looking for learning, practicing, remembering or simply having a great time. Please pay particular attention when you book your place as we have different event options.

- Spanish Conversational Club. Groups of maximum eight people and one native speaker moderator. It offers three different levels, beginner (from A2), intermediate and advance.
- Language exchange. The event last two hours, participants take part in a series of 1-to-1 conversations which last around 15 min each.
- Social Evenings. Dinners, Pub quizzes, Latino parties and themed nights on specific countries e.g. Mexican night.
- Film Club. A series of films in Spanish which will involve you in the Spanish-Latino world.

Lessons are online and last one hour, these focus on your language objectives i.e. travelling to Spain or South America or getting ready for an exam or interview. The lessons are time flexible so you can schedule them whenever it is convenient for you and for the teacher (who normally has plenty options in the afternoon and evening).

How do I register?
To attend you must register in advance. The events are published on meetup and https://www.spanglish-lc.com/ two weeks in advance. Once the event is published you can register following the instructions in the published link. However, there is limited number of participants per session, so we advise you to register allowing some time prior to the event. If you cannot attend and you have registered, you must reschedule your session at least 24 hours before.

Why should I come?
The events are organised for all language levels from A2 so great if you are beginner, intermediate or advance level, there will always be something for you. No suggested for beginners A1 or Zero level. Please get in touch if you want some lessons. The sessions are organised and dynamic, there are hundreds of activities to do. You are free to choose any event you feel more attracted with. You are free to choose what you talk about. Therefore, it will be up to you what you get out of each conversation. You will not have to pay any membership or commit to a number of sessions.

Can I suggest events or just make an open suggestion?
Of course, just bring your suggestions to the session or send us an email, an event planner will ensure your suggestion has the right execution. We are here to help and provide you all with the best cultural experience possible for you to have fun and improve your language skills.

¡Con Spanglish, las personas pueden hacer parte de nuestros eventos sociales y culturales, los cuales nos diferencian de las escuelas tradicionales y los otros meetups! Nos enfocamos en empoderar estudiantes y participantes para enfrentar desafíos y tomar nuevas experiencias. Esto les permite no solo practicar su nuevo lenguaje si no que también, hacer nuevos amigos en un ambiente cálido y amigable.
Los eventos y las clases son en Londres y Bogotá, los participantes se unen a nuestras reuniones organizadas, las cuales abren las puertas a profesionales amantes de los lenguajes que buscan aprender, practicar, recordar o simplemente pasar un rato agradable. Por favor observa con atención cuando reserves ya que tenemos diferentes tipos de eventos.

- Club de Conversación en español. Grupos de máximo 8 personas y un moderador nativo, este ofrece tres niveles básico (desde el nivel A2), intermedio y avanzado.      - Language exchange. El evento dura dos horas, los participantes hacen parte de conversaciones cara a cara que duran alrededor de 15 minutos cada una.
- Noches Sociales. Cenas, Pub Quizzes, Fiestas latinas y noches temáticas Ej. Noche mexicana.
- Film Club. Una serie de películas en español que te envolverán más en el mundo latino.

¿Cómo te registras?
Para asistir te debes registrar por adelantado. Los eventos son publicados en Meetup.com y https://www.spanglish-lc.com/ con dos semanas de anticipación. Una vez el evento es publicado tú puedes registrarte siguiendo las instrucciones de la publicación. Sin embargo, hay un número limitado de participantes por evento así que te aconsejamos registrarte a los eventos con antelación. Si no puedes atender y ya estas registrado, tú debes re agendar tu evento con al menos 24 horas de anticipación al mismo.

¿Por qué deberías asistir?
¡Los eventos están organizados para todos los niveles desde el nivel A2, genial si eres novato, intermedio o avanzado, siempre habrá algo para ti! Los eventos no son sugeridos para niveles A1 o cero. Por favor contactar si aun necesitas algunas clases. Las sesiones son organizadas y dinámicas, hay cientos de actividades que hacer. Tú eres libre de elegir cualquier evento con el cual te sientas más atraído. Tú eres libre de escoger sobre qué hablar, sin embargo, depende de ti como aprovechas cada conversación. No tienes que pagar ninguna membresía o abonarte para las sesiones.

¿Puedo sugerir eventos o hacer una sugerencia en general?
Por supuesto, solo trae tu sugerencia a la sesión o envíanos un correo. Un organizador de eventos se asegurará de ejecutar correctamente tu sugerencia. Estamos aquí para ayudar y darles a ustedes chic@s la mejor experiencia cultural posible para que ustedes se diviertan y mejoren sus habilidades con los lenguajes.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEMBERS. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE CURRENTLY DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS MEMBERS. SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE ALSO DOES NOT INQUIRE INTO THE BACKGROUNDS OF ALL OF ITS MEMBERS OR ATTEMPT TO VERIFY THE STATEMENTS OF ITS MEMBERS. SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE CONDUCT OF MEMBERS OR THEIR COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY CURRENT OR FUTURE MEMBERS. SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONDUCT ANY CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK OR OTHER SCREENINGS, AT ANY TIME AND USING AVAILABLE PUBLIC RECORDS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, GENERAL, SPECIAL, COMPENSATORY, CONSEQUENTIAL, AND/OR INCIDENTAL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BODILY INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM COMMUNICATIONS OR MEETINGS WITH OTHER REGISTERED USERS OF THIS SERVICE OR PERSONS YOU MEET THROUGH THIS SERVICE. YOU AGREE TO TAKE REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS IN ALL INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEMBERS OF THE SERVICE, PARTICULARLY IF YOU DECIDE TO MEET OFFLINE OR IN PERSON. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE MAKES NO GUARANTEES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING YOUR ULTIMATE COMPATIBILITY OR SECURITY WITH INDIVIDUALS YOU MEET THROUGH THE SERVICE. YOU SHOULD NOT PROVIDE YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION (FOR EXAMPLE, YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION) TO OTHER MEMBERS.
MEMBER AGREEMENT
BY JOINING SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE YOU AGREE THAT YOU BEAR ALL RISK INVOLVED WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE MEETUP GROUP AND SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE EVENTS AND YOU AGREE TO RELEASE SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE ORGANIZERS AND CREATORS OR HOSTS AND THEIR DESIGNEES FROM CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND DAMAGES (ACTUAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL) OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, DISCLOSED AND UNDISCLOSED, NOW AND IN THE FUTURE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR USE OF SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE GROUP AND YOUR ASSISTANCE TO THE SPANGLISH LANGUAGES AND CULTURE FACE TO FACE EVENTS
