Spanish in Real Life by Cultura Dual

Join us for a relaxed, guided Spanish conversation inside the Indigenous Arts of North America galleries at the Denver Art Museum.

We’ll explore ideas of identity, symbols, and storytelling while talking about what we see, what we think, and what we feel—all in Spanish.

This is not an art class, and you don’t need any background in art. The goal is simply to use the artwork as a starting point for meaningful, real-life conversation.

I’ll guide the session with simple prompts and questions, so you’re never stuck wondering what to say—but there’s also plenty of space for natural conversation.

This event is best for people at an intermediate level or above. You don’t need perfect Spanish, but you should feel comfortable forming basic sentences and participating in a conversation.

We’ll meet for about an hour in a small group (max 5 participants) to keep things interactive and low-pressure. If people feel like it, we usually grab coffee afterwards and keep chatting.

This is a free event organized independently of the Denver Art Museum. Museum admission is not included. If you have any questions about attending, feel free to reach out.

We’ll meet by the Mastodon sculpture outside and then explore the nature dioramas along with a few nearby exhibits.
