First Fiday Fiesta

Damas y caballeros,

El último Meetup de viernes hubo éxito fenomenal. Por eso intentaremos de renovar el mismo ánimo el viernes, 6 de abril 2012 al bar Bissap Baobab (antes conocido como Bollyhood Café) entre las 6 y las 9 de la tarde. Bissap se ubica en 3372 19th Street en San Francisco, entre las calles Mission y Capp en el barrio de la Misión.

Algo para pensar: pueden llegar al sitio en transporte público, bici o en coche. La estación de BART más cercana es la parada 16. Estacionamiento/aparcamiento por el barrio puede ser un poco difícil alrededor de las 6 y mucho más difícil tras las 7. Además, siempre sugerimos que conozcan a gente y que les acompañen a sus nuevos colegas al siguiente sitio (sea comer, bar, al autobús, coche, o BART).

Para los novatos Bissap Baobab es un bar muy amplio para nuestro grupo y está conjunto al restaurante Little Baobab. Somos un grupo grande lleno de gente amable de varios niveles y diferentes acentos que quiere desarrollar su lóbulo temporal con charlas en español. Búsquenme para presentarles a los otros miembros!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The last Friday Meetup was a huge success. We will try to replicate the excitement on Friday April 6, 2012 at Bissap Baobab (formerly Bollyhood Café) between 6PM and 9PM. Its address is 3372 19th Street between Mission St. and Capp St. in the Mission District of San Francisco.

Food for thought: you can get to Bissap by public transportation, bike, or car. The closest BART station is 16th Street stop. Parking can be a somewhat difficult around 6PM but a nightmare after 7PM. Furthermore, we always encourage people to socialize and to continue socializing after Bissap including accompanying people to their next destination (whether to eat, next bar, bus stop, car, or BART).

For all newcomers Bissap Baobab is a bar with plenty of space to satisfy our large group needs. The bar is also connected to the Little Baobab restaurant. We are a large group full of great people with different levels and accents and who want to develop the temporal lobe by having conversations in Spanish. Find me and I will introduce you to other members.
