This is a singles group for adults 50 and over in Metro Detroit who want to heat up their social lives. Whether you’re here to mingle, make new friends, flirt a little (or a lot), or maybe strike a match that actually sticks, you’re in the right place.

We host easygoing, pressure free meetups like happy hours, dinners, coffee hangs, music nights, and other social adventures that keep the sparks flying**.** Just good company, great conversation, and the possibility of a little friendly combustion. 🔥

## 🚒 A Quick Note About Age

This group is for singles 50 and over. That’s the deal.
(Yes, your organizer is slightly under 50… but don’t worry. I have a lifetime honorary membership and I'm off limits anyway.) 🔥😄
We’re looking for fun, vibrant people who still have plenty of spark left, for friendship, fun, and maybe something a little flammable.

## 🔥 House Rules

1. 50+ only. No exceptions. (…Except me. I run the thing. Perks of holding the matches.) 🔥
2. Zero tolerance for slurs or hate speech. Immediate removal from the entire network, permanently.
3. Kind, respectful, emotionally mature humans only. No wet blankets, no bullies.
4. Venue respect is mandatory. Any issues go to the host. Do not contact management or complain to staff.
5. Tip your server fairly. If you do not, you may be suspended. I will not cover anyone’s tab because they chose not to tip.
6. No spam, no drama, no unsolicited weirdness. We’re here for real connection and good energy.
7. Autumn has final say on conflicts, safety calls, and group decisions.

## ✅ No Show and Cancellation Policy

To keep events fair and make sure spots go to people who truly want to attend, please follow this policy.

### What counts as a no show

1. You RSVP Yes and do not attend.
2. You cancel after the cutoff listed below.

### Cancellation cutoff

Please change your RSVP to No at least 12 hours before the event start time.

### If you cannot make it

Message the host as soon as possible or leave a comment on the event. Life happens. If you communicate, it will usually be treated as excused. 💛

### No show consequences

1. First no show: Friendly reminder.
2. Second no show: Depends on the event. One or more of the following may apply.
   • Removed from future RSVP lists
   • Moved to waitlist only for a period of time
   • Restricted from reservation only events for 30 days
3. Third no show: Removed from the group

### Waitlist note

If you are moved from waitlist to confirmed and then do not attend, it counts as a no show.
