What we’re about
Enjoy reading about fantastical worlds, eerie dystopias, or outlandish sci-fi? Then this club is for you! Not sure what we're talking about but eager to chat about weird books with cool people? Then this club is also for you!
Speculative fiction encompasses science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, and other sub-genres that stretch the boundaries of reality.
We will meet approximately once a month, and welcome anyone in the Boulder/Denver area that would like to read and discuss improbable "what-ifs".

See all- Cloud Atlas by David MitchellTwisted Pine Brewing Co, Boulder, CO
David Mitchell combines flat-out adventure, a Nabokovian lore of puzzles, a keen eye for character, and a taste for mind-bending philosophical and scientific speculation in the tradition of Umberto Eco, Haruki Murakami, and Philip K. Dick. The result is brilliantly original fiction as profound as it is playful. In this novel, David Mitchell explores with daring artistry fundamental questions of reality and identity.
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell | GoodreadsWe will meet at the Twisted Pine again. I've changed the meeting day to Tuesday so we can try sitting inside in the back when the brewery does not usually have an event. So look for us there first.
I'm asking folks to chip in $5 (one-time, per year) to help cover the organizer fees. You can pay using the fundraising link above or with cash or venmo at the event.
