Meet the Spinoffs!
We are a group of cyclists of all ages, sizes, body types, ethnicities, political persuasions, religions, sexual orientations, intellectual capacities, and abilities who cycle the trails and back roads of Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas for fun, health, and friendship. We welcome riders from the novice to the experienced. What brings us together is a desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle, share friendship, and enjoy the outdoors by cycling.

Ride Name: Silver Lake to Freedom Trail
Distance: 25 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate, there are hills on this ride! Recreational speeds of 11-13 mph.
Ride Type: Out and back.
Restrooms: at start and along the trail.

Note: I try to start the ride on time.
Starting Point: Silver Lake Village Hall Trailhead, 2961 Kent Rd., Stow. Meet by the tennis courts near Chief Wagmong statute.
Trail: Munroe Falls Hike & Bike, and Freedom Trail, both paved. Some road riding to connect to trails.
Ride Description: Starting at Silver Lake town hall we head east along the Cuyahoga River to N. River Rd. A short ride on the road and then up the Middlebury Rd. hill to the new parking lot/trailhead which connects with the Freedom Trail by switchback. Freedom Trail takes us over several roads surrounding Tallmadge Circle. We follow Freedom Trail to a parking lot behind the University of Akron. After a short break we return on the same trails. CONSTRUCTION AT MILL ST BRIDGE. We may have to turnaround before this section.

Ride Name: Cleveland Clinic to Hudson/Judson
Distance: 21 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate. Recreational speeds of 11-13 mph.
Ride type: Out and back.
Restrooms: at starting point in Cle Clinic Wellness Center and along route.

Trail: Bike & Hike. (paved)
Starting Point: Akron General Health & Wellness Center, 4300 Allen Rd., Stow. Get off Route 8 at Steels Corner Road. Make a left onto Allen Road at the stop light and then another left into the parking lot. Park in back near the trail.
Ride Description: Paved trail, flat with some rolling hills. We head north and then east on the Bike & Hike. A quick re-group at the trail split just before the steep hill down. We pass through a tunnel under Rte. 91 followed by a stop at the Young Road trailhead for restroom break. The Portage Franklin Connector trail will take us to our turnaround point at the Hudson/Judson trailhead. One large hill on our return ride.

- Glenmont to Gambier on the Mohican Valley and Kokosing Gap Trails 44 miles r/tGlenmont Community Building, Glenmont, OH
Ride Name: Glenmont to Gambier
Distance: 44 miles round trip
Starting point: Parking lot of Glenmont Community Center/City Park.
The Community Center looks like a big school building.Rating: Intermediate because of distance, recreational speeds 12-14 mph.
Ride Type: out and back
Restrooms: Porta potties along route

Trail: Mohican Valley Trail, Kokosing Gap Trail
Ride Description: Trails are paved. We'll ride over Bridge of Dreams and under the Howard Arch. When we get to Gambier my plan is to have lunch at the Gambier Deli which closes at 2pm. We can sit at tables on the sidewalk. The Deli is less than 1 mile from the bike path.
