Rock Climbing Near New River
Details
Let's meet at the Gobble Stop in Prices Fork at 10 am. We will discuss our experience and make a decision as to if we should go top rope climbing at Fools Face near Mc McCoy, or go lead climbing on the opposite side of the river at Whites Face by Parrot. Fools Face has a very short approach, Whites Face has a mile long, kinda steep approach. Be ready to do some hiking.
I'll bring a number of ropes, but if you have one, bring it. Later, I will have rock shoes to lend out, but not for this event. I have a limited number of harnesses and helmets that I can loan out. If you have your own, bring them. Don't forget to bring water and a lunch.
