About us
The purpose of this group is for spiritual seekers to come together and learn from one another. To share with one another and hopefully educate one another with the resources each of us has discovered in our individual journeys. Whether these resources are authentic, individual enlightenment or traditional, religious or spiritual text or content. Let us see each other as equals in our spiritual search, regardless of our political, ideological, or religious affiliations.
I had a literal dream (nighttime, then aspirational) that pointed to the attainment of unconditional love and universal acceptance as the central goal of souls. I considered using this descriptor for the group name, but because it can be perceived as rather vague, I have decided on Spiritual Seekers' Fellowship. To read more about my spiritual realization, you may access my blog here:
https://newamericanspringblog.wordpress.com/2026/08/15/unconditional-love-and-universal-acceptance/ [While this article is posted on my pre-existing, social project blog site, my Meetup group will not share this affiliation.]
This spiritual goal (of unconditional love of persons and universal acceptance of circumstances) is the nebulous standard I hold in my heart, although I feel that to truly attain it, I need to find it in practical community. In the practice of sincere fellowship of spiritual seekers!
So, if you consider yourself a spiritual seeker who accordingly realizes that spiritual ideals are not complete without the practice of real community, then this is the place for you. Whether you are Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Bahi, or any other affiliation, you are welcomed to come and share your ideas in this group-- not with the goal of persuading anyone to your affiliation, but with the sole aim of teaching and learning from one another-- as equal spiritual seekers.
Because I am dedicating myself to hosting a Meetup every day of the week except Saturday, I will choose a single spiritual resource weekly (a reading, an audio segment, a video, or any other) in order to offer a focal point for our discussions. Therefore, you need only attend one weekly session, although you may attend all if you like a certain resource or if you happen to love the community. I will also willingly allow any group member to suggest a content for me to host. Simply write to me at my Meetup inbox. This way, every Meetup will have spiritual matter for us to share and learn from.
Finally, this group will be free for all. There will be no mandatory contributions. I will only ask if any member feels moved to help support my personal dedication, they make a donation via the Fundraising tab available on the group page, powered by Pledge. I am personally fighting cancer and am not working, so members may feel free to financially support my dedication to this group, if able. For as the great teacher Jesus taught, “render to Cezar what is Cezar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
But in short, we are here to learn from each other and grow through spiritual community building, even if virtual. Welcome!
