PLEASE READ ENTIRE RIDE DESCRIPTION
**Welcome to the SBC Bike Everywhere Choose Your Distance Group Ride. This is the middle-distance route and is a No-Drop ride. Please note that there is significant climbing on the route and while not difficult for the experienced rider, it should not be considered easy or a ride for beginners. Participants should be able to maintain a steady pace (12-14 MPH) for a distance of 20 - miles (Slower pacing on hills is expected). Please wear cycling related clothing.
E-Bikes, Gravel Bikes and Flat Bar road bikes are all welcome.

Name: Olmsted Park to 7-Mile Circle Route
Start: 9:30 a.m.
Meet: Olmsted Park: N. Nettleton St and Summit Pkwy, Spokane
Pace: Steady pace in flat section usually between 12 to 14 MPH
Distance: 20 miles
Terrain: Paved with rollers and steeper climbs. Some of the pavement is very rough.
Regroup: As necessary. Morin Trailhead, 7-Mile, and top of Doomsday Hill.
Route: There is a lot of climbing in this route with some sections that have very rough pavement. We will start at Olmsted Park and move onto the Centennial Trail – down the switchbacks and over the Sandifur Bridge - from the Bridge will make our way up to Government Way. Then take Government to Houston where we will return to the Centennial Trail. We will stay on the Centennial Trail (including the SBC section) to Seven Mile – Right on Seven Mile to access Aubrey White Road – Aubrey White to Downriver Drive – Downriver to Doomsday Hill. Return to the Centennial Trail at the top of Doomsday – Then back to the park.
Estimated duration of the ride 2 to 3 hours plus time for regrouping.
Eat: Meeting at My Fresh Basket a short distance from Olmsted Park after the ride.
