Welcome to the SBC Wednesday Group Ride. Participants should have at least intermediate level cycling skills and be able to maintain a steady pace (12-15 MPH) for a distance of 25 + miles (Slower pacing on hills is expected). This midweek ride is designed to be a fun ride that helps build/maintain your cycling foundation. Ride leaders will focus on a relaxed attitude and pace. So put on some causal cycling clothing and enjoy the ride. Please wear cycling related clothing. E-Bikes, Gravel Bikes and Flat Bar road bikes are all welcome. Helmets are required on all SBC rides.

Meet: Corbin Park – 896 S. Corbin Rd, Post Falls, ID 83854
Pace: Steady pace usually between 12 and 15 MPH
Distance: Approximately 28
Terrain: Paved bike path and paved roads. The route is mostly flat.
Regroup: As necessary, at major turns and Bakery by the Lake.
Route: This is a perfect out and back route to practice your Cadence and improve your technique. The route starts at Corbin Park in Post Fall and run mostly along the Centennial Trail and quiet neighborhood roads until we get to Bakery by the Lake in Coeur D’Alene (Group will select which Bakery by the Lake we go to at the start of the ride). Return to the Park retracing outbound route.
Estimated duration of the ride 2.5 to 3 hours plus time for regrouping.
Eat: Bring snacks and water for the ride. We will stop for drinks, snacks and conversation at Bakery by the Lake.
Bring: A bicycle in good working condition and equipment to make minor bicycle repairs i.e. flat tire.
