Women's Friday Ride - Trail of The Coeur d'Alenes from Bull
Run Trailhead.
Start Time: Arrive by 9:15am for 9:30am start.
Estimated Duration of the Ride: Approximately 20 milles, 2 Hours.
Meeting Location: Bull Run Trailhead, Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, Rose Lake I D. From Spokane, follow I-90 East, Take Exit 34/ ID-3
S/State Hwy 3 South, Follow 3.2 miles and turn left on Bull Run
Rd/Queen St. The parking lot for the trailhead is on the right shortly
after crossing a one-lane bridge. Allow one hour and 15 minutes for the drive, and carpooling is encouraged. Pit toilet available.
Pace: Leisurely, 10-12 mph
Distance: 20 miles RT
Terrain: Flat, Class 1 Trail
Description: From Bull Run Trailhead, the group will ride for one hour out and one hour back. Depending on the weather, we will ride West if the weather is cool (more sun exposure), or East if the weather is warm (more shade). Riders will be empowered to go at their own pace, providing you turn around after one hour. Regroup at scenic overlooks or to admire wildlife is optional.
Eat: Bring your own lunch for a picnic at the trailhead at the end of
the ride. Bring extra water (you may also wish to bring a folding chair as seating in the shade is limited!).
Weather Cancellation: Thunderstorms/steady rain, and/or AQI over 150.
Helmets ate required on all SBC rides.
