Team Thursday: Newman/Hauser Clockwise from Harvard Trailhead

Start Time: Meet at 7:45 AM for 8:00 start

Meeting Location/Address: Harvard Road Trailhead 2663-2733 N Harvard Rd, Liberty Lake, WA 99019

Distance: 38 miles

Pace: 12 – 14 on flats

Terrain: Mostly flat except for lots of ups and downs around Newman Lake; total elevation gain +/- 1350 ft.

Route Description: Harvard Road and East River Rd. Turn north on Starr Rd for 4 1/2 miles then left on Newman Lake Drive. Once the 5 to 7 hills (depending on how you count) around Newman are conquered we descend Muzzy and begin the much gentler circumnavigation of Hauser Lake, enjoying the all the scenery along the way. We'll take a break at the Hauser Lake boat launch. Then it's back to Starr and retrace the route back to the start. Afterwards we can grab a coffee at New Love Coffee shop.
