Important note: The Centennial Trail through part of Riverside State Park will be closed from mid-April to sometime in June. This is a substitute route for that period.
Meet : Finch Aboretum Woodland Center parking lot, 9:45 am
Start Time: 10:00 am
Description: Ride from Finch Arboreturm via Fish Lake Trail to Scribner Rd, 7.7 miles. Cross RR tracks and continue on Spokane Cheney Road approximately 1+ mile to S Myers Park Rd, indicated by old steam shovel on left. Turn left and proceed about 75 yds to Columbia Plateau trailhead, where there is a restroom. Ride 4 miles to end of paved trail at S Cheney Spangle Rd. Proceed right 3/4 mile to Cheney, crossing multiple RR tracks, to stoplight at First Ave.
Snack at Mason Jar (coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, and restroom). Return via First Ave to Cheney Spokane Road and left on Andrus Rd. Be cautious crossing sharply diagonal RR tracks on Cheney Spokane Road shortly after leaving First Ave (swing left then right to cross tracks as close to 90 degrees as possible). Continue on Andrus Road to Spotted Road or Grove (about 1/2 mile further). Turn left and continue to Hallett, L on Dorset, L on 41st, jog to 40th, R on Assembly, cross Thorpe, R on Garden Springs, R on Grandview which becomes 17th, L on W 16th (fast downhill with hard left at bottom), L on S Milton, R on S 14th. Turn L at 13th and return over overpass then L thru neighborhood to Finch Aboretum

Terrain: Mostly flat with some small hills
Distance: 30 miles
Regroup at Scribner Rd RR crossing, 7.7 miles, Mason Jar at Cheney, and at major turns.
Weather policy: extreme wind, heat of rain cancels ride.
