Free showing - "Chinese Take-Away" at the Magic Lantern

Details
In celebration of our 18th year as a group, it's time for our annual free summer movie screening on Sunday, August 3 at 1:00pm at The Magic Lantern Theatre.
This year we will be showing Chinese Take-Away (original title, "Un Cuento Chino," or "A Chinese Story"), a charming Argentinian comedy about a well-ordered hardware store owner in Buenos Aires whose his life is turned upside down when he helps a stranded Chinese man, who doesn't speak a word of Spanish, find his uncle in the bustling city. Roger Ebert gave it four stars, and I know you're going to love it.
You can watch the trailer on YouTube here.
The film will start at 1:15pm. Admission is free, paid for by your annual membership dues. I have rented the large theater at the Magic Lantern, with room for up to 100 attendees, so please feel free to bring guests, and invite your friends and family to join us as well. The more the merrier!
Please note that, while admission is free, concessions are not. Popcorn, candy, beverages, etc. will be available at their regular prices.
Because these annual events typically have 40-50 attendees, I will not have a reservation at a nearby restaurant for after the film. Boots Bakery, Saranac Public House, Chili's, The Onion, and Mango Tree should all be open it you want to grab a bite somewhere after the movie.
Thank you so much for your years of support of Spokane Art Cinema. I look forward to seeing you at the movie!
