This group is now over 2 years old! 35 road trips done, over 15,000 kilometres driven! Very grateful. Thank you to all the amazing people who have joined me. A lot of fun!

--- INFORMATION ---
Spontaneous, relaxed, sightseeing day trips into nature! My road trips are announced at a very short notice (4 days before). This is because I wait for a clear weather forecast. I regularly rent new, spacious vehicles to go stargazing late at night, so I need clear weather at night, which usually means the day has clear weather as well. Stargazing is my favourite thing to do in life. It always inspires the passion for life!
As I have the rental vehicle for 24 hours but only need it late at night, I take people on road trips during the day under the lovely sunshine. There is 1 vehicle with a maximum of 3 other passengers and I am driving. Road trips are good for those that prefer smaller groups (2 to 4 people, including driver).
This has been a real win-win concept for everybody. Firstly, people get to travel to amazing places on a beautiful, sunny day, for a very low price. Secondly, I get to use the vehicle instead of parking it all day waiting for late-night to arrive. Win-win!
I drop attendees back in the city after the road trip and then I use the vehicle later at night as intended, which is for stargazing. By the way, I do not take anyone on my late-night stargazing trips! You will only be attending the daytime trips, which ends in the evening.
Taking people on road trips is truly fulfilling! It makes me so happy to see people inspired by the beauty of nature. Very grateful to be able to do this!
Meetup members are very much welcome to join but I want to mention that I also share my events outside of Meetup as a lot of travellers, international students and working holiday makers are arriving into Australia. They will be noted as "guests". Meetup is my information website for them to conveniently decide if they want to join my road trips without the extra steps required for them to become a Meetup member.

As your driver, I am responsible and liable for your safety while we are in the vehicle. Passengers are insured as per the Australian law. I take pride in being a good, safe road trip organiser, which is why attendees have really enjoyed my trips.
My road trips stats are given further above. On each trip, I was responsible, safe and looked after all attendees. I will always do everything within my control to keep you safe and comfortable while we are in the vehicle.
For times we are outside the vehicle, we then become responsible for our own liability and safety, just like every other capable adult in society.

Notice: In almost 3 years (December 2021 to November 2024), I drove 20,000 kilometres across 45 road trip events and met so many amazing people through my two Meetup groups (links above)!
From November 2024, I changed how my road trip events were done.
Instead of planning events on my own, I left it up to members to reach out to me if they wanted to go somewhere. I am now doing other creative projects but I am always more than happy to take people on road trips!
Events are now announced after they are done to make members aware that my group is still active, though in a different way. It will be titled "Road Trip: Record event only". Photos will already be posted on the group Instagram account (link above).
This change seems to be working quite well for members and myself! Very grateful!
