All-Star Panel: “Building The Next Big Sports Venture”

Join us September 20th at 6pm for the inaugural Sports and Tech Meetup as our all-star panel of VCs and entrepreneurs discuss building and investing in the next big venture backed sports startups. The sports industry touches many different areas of business and entrepreneurs are trying to build sports related tech companies across many verticals from media to ticketing to gaming to e-commerce. Our panel will weigh in on where they see big attractive opportunities both as operators and as investors. Q&A will follow.

Panelists Include:
Paul Martino – Managing Director, Bullpen Capital and serial entrepreneur (founded 4 companies including Aggregate Knowledge). Sports related investments include: Zynga (IPO), Fan Duel, and Betable.

Warren Packard – Founder and CEO Thuuz (a real time sports discovery app) and Venture Partner, Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Sports related investments include: Fog Dog (IPO) and Tickets Now (acquired by Ticket Master).
