❓FAQ

• What is the waitlist and can I join an event even if I’m on the waitlist?
  Waitlists are automatically enabled for events with a certain attendee limit to control the amount of people joining an event. Being on the waitlist means you won’t be able to join the event unless someone from the “going” list frees-up a spot for you. If a new spot gets available, Meetup will automatically move the next available person to the “going” list.
• What does RSVP mean?
  RSVP is an initialism derived from the French phrase Répondez s'il vous plaît, literally meaning "Respond, if you please", or just "Please respond". For our events it means that you should keep status (going/not going) for an event updated! (see also our no-show policy)
• Do I need to be on time for the event or do I need to stay for the full time?
  Try to be reasonable. As a general rule of thumb, make sure you stay at least 50% of the event time. Example: if the event takes 3 hours (starting time: 18:00 and sunset is at 21:00), make sure you arrive by 19:00 or 19:30 (latest!). If you are not sure, rather allow someone else to take your spot.

All we ask in return is that people who sign up for any of our events keep their RSVP status up-to-date to avoid occupying spots that prevent others from joining. Thank you for your understanding.
