Hey everyone — Kim Tucker here with MAREI (Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors) in Kansas City.

As many of you probably know, Springfield REIA stopped meeting at the end of 2024, and it looks like some of the other local investor meetups may have slowed down as well.

One thing we’ve learned over the years is that real estate investors do better when they stay connected to other investors. Even if you’re not actively buying right now, staying plugged into education, conversations, vendors, lenders, attorneys, and other investors matters.

While MAREI is based in Kansas City, many of our trainings and workshops are virtual, we livestream some meetings, and we record most presentations so members can watch later.

A few things we thought might be helpful:

✔️ Virtual workshops and trainings
✔️ Recorded presentations and replay library
✔️ Online meetings and livestreams
✔️ Networking with investors actively doing deals
✔️ Access to vendors, lenders, attorneys, and investor resources

At the same time, I’d also genuinely love to know:

Are there any active investor groups, meetups, or communities still meeting regularly in the Springfield area?

If there are good local people still trying to build community there, I’d rather help support and connect people than see the area lose its investor network entirely.
