Hello Springfield! This group is for women over 40 in Springfield, MA. I know, I know - there are many groups on Meetup that have a similar description, but this one is different. Why? OK, ready - You must actually LIVE in Springfield to join this group. All of the other Meetups I have ever been in deal with the Western Mass region which is quite large - sometimes Northampton is just too far. So I've decided to be part of the "Springfield Fun Scene" movement for which, as a lifelong resident, I believe I am qualified. There are lots of fun activities, ethnic & other restaurants, cool events, and stuff to do - all in Springfield. If you live here, you KNOW what I'm talking about. Then there are possible day trips every now and then to other locations within a 2 hour drive from here.
If you are a Springfield woman - married, single, divorced, kids, no kids, of any race, or whatever else you call yourself - who likes to have a good time, this club is for you. Sorry, but if you live in Chicopee, Agawam, East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, West Springfield, etc., this is not a group for you. This is NOT a networking group so please conduct your business elsewhere, but if you want to do fun things locally with other like-minded people, tell me a little about yourself. I'll consider everyone who wants to join as long as you are of appropriate age and YOU LIVE IN SPRINGFIELD.
