In December, Colorado College students partnered with the City of Colorado Springs for the college’s first-ever hackathon centered on Community Revitalization. Given 24 hours, multidisciplinary teams tackled real challenges identified through the City’s 2025 Strategic Doing Actions - designing practical, forward-looking solutions and pitching them to a panel of judges.
Now, these teams are bringing their ideas to the broader startup and innovation community.
What You’ll See
Student teams will pitch solutions across three core challenge tracks - each tied directly to the future of Colorado Springs:
Infrastructure
Strengthening mobility and connectivity through safer transportation options, enhanced parks and trails, and better public-space experiences.
Public Safety
Improving neighborhood safety, situational awareness, emergency readiness, and communication between the City and residents.
Community Activation
Creating tools and platforms that help residents engage more meaningfully in civic life, activate public spaces, and stay informed about city decisions.
Why Attend
Hear fresh, community-focused ideas from the next generation of innovators
See how civic challenges can become launchpads for real-world solutions
Connect with students, founders, mentors, and community leaders
Support collaboration between higher education, local government, and the startup ecosystem
Whether you’re a founder, mentor, investor, civic leader, or simply curious about how innovation can strengthen our city, this Pitch Night is for you.
Come support these teams - and see what’s possible when community, creativity, and execution come together.
