What we’re about
Come out, once a month, for an afternoon of easy modern square dancing. Throughout the 2 hours of dance time, I'll teach a few square dance steps as we dance the afternoon away. Most will be basic and easy, but sometimes I'll try to challenge you with something that makes your brain say "Whaaaa???" 😊 Never fear - it always works out!!!
We dance to a variety of music - it's MODERN square dancing, so it's much more than fiddles and banjos!
It's very social - it's done in groups of 8 - consider it a team event!
We dance in couples, but you don't need a partner to attend. Dancers who come without a partner will just dance with another dancer who comes without a partner. Easy peasy!!😊
Stimulate your brain - learn the steps and then dance them as the Caller leads you through a variety of "patter" and "singing calls".
Bring the family - it's great for 10 years old and up. No experience necessary. I'll teach you ALL you need to know.
