Monthly Dance

Have you ever tried MODERN Square Dancing? If not, you will be surprised to find out how much fun it is! Unlike Traditional (Old Tyme) Square Dancing, we use different music (Comtemporary, Classic Rock, Alternative, Easy Listening, Jazz, etc...) and we teach steps, not complete dances. And, a difference that always surprises people, the Caller doesn't only call out the steps that the dancers are supposed to do, she also SINGS!

Don't worry about what the steps are. The whole idea of these monthly dances is to teach people who have never done it before a few simple introductory steps - enough to have a great time of dancing for 2 hours.

So:

1. No experience necessary.
2. No partner required - even though we dance in pairs, two people who come alone make a pair!
3. No particular dress code - wear whatever you are comfortable in.
4. Cost is reasonable: $10 per person in advance by eTransfer to wendyv@sympatico.ca (non-refundable) or $12 per person at the door.
5. Ages 10 and up are welcome.
