Square Dance Ottawa - Sunday, November 23

Modern Square Dancing is growing in the Eastern Ontario region - not in "leaps and bounds" but "slowly but surely". Now it's time for you to find out why!

Our November dance is the last dance in 2025, so I hope many of you can make it out this time. I'll teach you a few steps ... Yes, we will still Dosido! - but not to fiddles and banjos. How about dancing to Dua Lipa, Carly Rae Jepsen, Eric Clapton, George Ezra, the Beatles, and many more.

Check it out! Here are the pertinent details:

• Location: Mel Baker Hall in the J. A. Dulude Arena, 941 Clyde Ave., Ottawa (1/2 km south of Carling)
• Cost: $12 per person at the door
• Take water with you - dancing is thirsty work!
• Wear whatever you are comfortable in - no specific dresswear required.
• Comfy shoes are a good idea!
• The heating/cooling in the room can be ... flexible at times. A light sweater that you can put on or take off as needed is not a bad idea...
• We dance in couples, but you don't have to come with a partner. Two people who come without a partner make a couple!
