Did you know that The Perley incorporates a complete seniors complex? I didn't until I went there and had a tour. It sure isn't just a Veteran's Hospital anymore. It's actually very amazing the development that is going on there. You gotta check it out at www.PerleyHealth.ca.
One vital part of their development is a 55+ residence and offering of various activities (https://tinyurl.com/perley-nov2025). One of the new activities is square dancing! And the great thing about this is that it is open to people who live in the area. You don't have to live in the Perley residence to participate in their planned events. So, if you know anyone who lives in the Alta Vista area and is 55 or older, tell them about this opportunity to give Modern Square Dancing a try!
