Learn to Square Dance - No Experience Required!

Modern Square Dancing is a fun way to get some exercise and meet new friends. We learn the names of the basic movements and then do them on the fly to the instructions of a live caller. It's like an adult game of Simon Says with a team of 8 people all going in different directions, in time to a variety of music. You don't have to be a dancer; you just have to follow directions and walk in patterns.
Our next beginner's class starts on Sep 9. No experience required! Come on your own or with a partner. Our friendly club members will help you through the whole process!
This is a 15-week class, which will get you to the basic level you need to dance with many clubs around the Bay Area. $150 for the whole package, which includes membership in the club and a club badge.

Casual dress. Comfortable shoes with soles that aren't too grippy.
