Last Chance for Square Dance Class

Our next beginner's class starts on Sep 15, but you can still join on Sep 22 if you miss the first week. We'll go over everything again from the beginning; no experience required. (After that, it's a cumulative class that requires attendance most weeks.)

Modern Square Dancing is a fun way to get some exercise and meet new friends. We learn the names of the basic movements and then do them on the fly to the instructions of a live caller. It's like an adult game of Simon Says with a team of 8 people all going in different directions, in time to a variety of music. You don't have to be a dancer; you just have to follow directions and walk in patterns.

This is a 15-week class (ending Dec 22), with a few more calls taught each week. At the end of the class, you'll be able to dance with many clubs around the Bay Area and around the world. $150 for the whole package, which includes membership in the club and a club badge.

No experience required. No dance skill required. Come on your own or with a partner. Our friendly club members will help you through the whole process!

Casual dress. Comfortable shoes with soles that aren't too grippy.
No alcohol. No smoking.
