Off Broadway Show - The Wild Party in NYC

Some of you may have heard that Anita’s son Evan Martin has a role in an Off Broadway show titled The Wild Party. It has a limited run in March for 2 weeks. https://www.nycitycenter.org/pdps/2025-2026/the-wild-party/

We would attend the show March 27th or March 28th. On Friday, 3/27 they have a Meet & Greet with the cast. Since we’ll be up there I thought about adding site seeing tours.

Hotel - We will be staying at a hotel in Central NJ for about $150 a night.

Getting to NYC - Airfare from Sarasota is around $250 to $325 per person, round trip. From Tampa it’s about the same price but Tampa has more flight options.

You will need to make your own reservations for the hotel and your airline of choice. If arriving on Thursday, you should plan on arriving at Newark Airport around 1 pm to 2 pm. If arriving on Friday, you need to be on the 6:00 am flight on United from Tampa or on the 6:04 am flight on United out of Sarasota. Both these flights arrive by 9:00 AM which leaves you time to get to the hotel and meet us at the hotel. You will also need to reserve your airport transfer. A shared airport shuttle between the NYC hotel & Newark Airport will cost $37 one way.

All tours require reservations. For the show ticket and all tours we go on, you will need to pay Danielle, via Zelle, about 5 weeks in advance.
The Show Ticket - The ticket for the show is $150.

Dining - We would have dinner at Carmine’s Times Square the day we don’t see the show and we would have a late lunch/early dinner at Junior’s in NYC the day we see the show.

This is a TENTATIVE itinerary, subject to change...
Since more people want to stay in NJ, I am renting a car and will shuttle people between the airport and the hotel. Adriana may help as well. It will still cost $70 round trip. I strongly suggest everyone fly out of Tampa rather than Sarasota. There are more flights and they cost much less. You can drive to the airport or get an Uber.
If you are not planning on joining us during the day, if you only plan on joining us for dinner and the show on Friday night or just the show, you need to let me know ASAP.
Thursday
Arrive, I need to know the time you will arrive in Newark so I can arrange transportation. I need your Airline, your Flight Number and Time of Arrival. We will have 2 pickup times on Thursday.

Friday
Breakfast at the hotel. Continental breakfast, 6:30 AM-9:00 AM
Leave the hotel @ 8:30 AM and take the train into NYC.
9/11 Memorial & Museum Tour @ 12:00 PM

The Wild Party @ NY City Center, 7:30 PM
Saturday
Leave hotel at 8:00 AM and stop for breakfast at The Metuchen Diner.
