Ice Cream Social ~ What's Old is New Again!

Join fellow members and guests of the SSDOMG for an Ice Cream Social! Last time we were here it was Peaceful Meadows and now it's Hornstra. Let's check out the changes and enjoy some ice cream and socializing.

Arrive anytime in the first half hour and stay as long as you like but the event officially ends after 90 minutes. For those who would like to continue socializing afterward, you are welcome to do so. Join us for a fun time of ice cream and socializing outside!

Meeting Location: Look for us near the start of the line, or at or near a picnic table if you arrive after we are in line or are already enjoying our ice cream. We will wait 5 minutes or till 75% of attendees have arrived, which ever comes first and then get in line.

Min/Max: At least 5 Yes RSVP's, including at least 4 SSDOMG members 72 and 24 hours in advance. Max of 15. (If we drop below this number @ and leading up to 3 hours prior to the RSVP Deadline this event may be cancelled.)
Guests: 2 per person, Ages 13+
Costs: Pay your own way. Most options are between $4-$15
Event Fees: $2pp / 2026 AMs & 1 Guest are Free (You can become an AM today to take advantage of this.) / $10/$6 to become a 2026 AM (Annual Member) // All small bills please (1s &5s; 10s for AMs).
RSVP Deadline: 3 hours prior @ 12:45pm on Sat 5/23

Inclement Weather (actual precipitation) will cancel and this will be rescheduled to another time this Summer.

Directions Overview: Conveniently located on Route18 (SB).
Parking: Free and ample on-site. If the lot is overflowing please park safely nearby.

~~~Please bring Cash Only!!! (All fees must be paid in cash. Most Ice Cream places accept credit cards, however, there may be a CC charge minimum of $10 or $15, depending on the venue.) Everyone pays their own way for their ice cream today. Please bring small bills ($1s or $5s please) to pay for the event/annual fee. When in doubt, please make this easy and bring cash. We will check with our server/restaurant about separate checks in advance and then again upon arrival but make no promises or guarantees.~~~

**Health Guidelines**

SSDOMG requests you not attend an event if/when:
>You have been exposed to covid-19 in the 10 days prior to the event and have not yet tested negative.
>You are experiencing any sickness up to 5 days prior to the event in which you have not been symptom-free for at least 48 hours, especially if it's contagious.

This is for the safety of the attendees, employees, and our families.

Please update your RSVP, preferably prior to the RSVP Deadline or you may be considered a No-Show. We do have a No-Show Policy which is when you are a Yes/Going RSVP at the RSVP Deadline but do not attend the event.
