Deck the Halls Dinner in Abington

SSDOMG Members, let's deck the halls as we enjoy a meal at a restaurant all decked out for the holidays in Abington - Giardino's!

Experience the harmony of flavors and the elegance of Italian cuisine in an atmosphere that feels like home, where every meal is a celebration of life and love. We are a scratch kitchen, serving you fresh ingredients, and giving a true home cooked meal. Everything from our pasta to our bread is made in house daily.

There is something for everyone as the menu offers Appetizers, Steaks & Seafood, Sandwiches, Paninis, Pasta, Parmigiana, Risotto, Salads, and Desserts.

Reservations are required. I can adjust up/down up to 72 hours prior. The final count needs to be called in 2.5-3 hours prior. Please be mindful of our RSVP Deadline of 3 hours prior @ 3:30pm that day.

Meeting Place: By the front door. Please wait for Event Host/Organizer to be seated. We wait till the majority of attendees are present or a minute or two after the event time to be seated. We *may* have to wait a few minutes to be seated. If you will be arriving more than 15 minutes after our start time please post a comment below at least 3 hours prior to the event with your ETA. (The restaurant may not allow late arrivals beyond a certain timeframe. Please LMK well in advance of your ETA so I can run it by them.)

Min/Max: Minimum of 6 total, including 4 members, at least 5 days prior (Sun 12/6 @ 3pm). Max of 14.
Guests: This event will open up to Guests if space is available on or about December 1st (give or take a day). One adult (21+) guest per member.

Event Fee: $2pp / 2025 Annual Members ~ Free / $10 to become a 2026 Annual Member. // All small bills please (1s&5s; 10&20s for AMs) which is collected when we are paying the bill.

RSVP Deadline ~ 3 hours prior @ 3:30pm on TH Dec 11th. (Note: If your plans change please update your RSVP regardless of the time as we can now access this info from our phones. Any changes after this time may be considered a No-Show.) If you will be arriving more than 15 minutes after our start time please post a comment below at least 10 minutes prior to the event with your ETA.
*****There is a $10 charge per No-Show from the Restaurant. Please update your RSVP even if after the Deadline, however, prior to the Deadline is pref'd as any changes after the Deadline may result in a No-Show charge. If I am charged due to your No-Show, you will need to pay me back that $10 within 30 days. We will communicate that privately via Meetup messaging.******

Directions Overview: Located on Route 18 NB at the intersection with Abington HS and a landscaping company, about 1/2 mile north of Lowe's and a stone's throw from Timer Lanes (about 500 feet away on the SB side).

Parking: Free and ample parking on-site. Since they may be busier than usual, there may be an overflow lot somewhere and I will note that here if that is the case.

~~~Please bring Cash Only!!! (The only exception is if it's clearly stated in the Event Description that there will be separate checks as you can then pay with your credit/debit card.) If you choose to bring/buy/use a GC from/for this restaurant, please bring proof of funds and no more than $20 more than the cost of your portion of the bill. Please bring small bills ($1s or $5s please) to pay for the event fee. When in doubt, please make this easy and bring cash. We will check with our server/restaurant about separate checks in advance and then again upon arrival but make no promises or guarantees.~~~

**Health Guidelines**

SSDOMG requests you not attend an event if/when:
>You have been exposed to covid-19 in the 10 days prior to the event and have not yet tested negative.
>You are experiencing any sickness up to 5 days prior to the event in which you have not been symptom-free for at least 48 hours, especially if it's contagious.

This is for the safety of the attendees, employees, and our families.

Please update your RSVP, preferably prior to the RSVP Deadline or you may be considered a No-Show. We do have a No-Show Policy which is when you are a Yes/Going RSVP at the RSVP Deadline but do not attend the event.
