By the end of this session, you'll have a deployed web app on your own GitHub, built almost entirely by describing what you want to Claude Code. No prior coding-agent experience needed.
What we're building: an AI Job Tracker. You paste in a job description, it saves the role, scores how well your resume matches, and tells you what's missing. Simple enough to finish in an afternoon, useful enough that you'll keep using it during your own search.
Who this is for: data engineers, analysts, and AI folks who keep hearing about Claude Code and want to see what it actually does with their hands on the keyboard. If you've written some Python or SQL, you're ready. If you've never opened a terminal, you'll still leave with a working app, but budget a few extra minutes for setup.

How the 4 hours go:
Hour 1: Setup check, project scaffold, first feature working. You'll see how to talk to Claude Code so it builds what you mean, not what you said.
Hour 2: Add the resume-matching feature and a database. This is where you learn to review and steer the agent instead of accepting everything it writes.
Hour 3: Polish, fix what broke, add one feature of your own choosing.
Last 45 minutes: Deploy to a live URL, then demos. Everyone who wants to show their app gets three minutes.
Before Saturday you need:

1. Claude Code installed and running (instructions sent after RSVP)
2. A Claude Pro subscription or API credits. This is the one hard requirement. Without it you'll be watching, not building.
3. A GitHub account
4. Node.js installed
5. Your resume as a PDF or text file

Anyone who hasn't finished the checklist by Friday night should plan to watch the recording instead. The session moves fast and there's no time to debug installs live.
