Join us for a evening of creativity, fun, socializing with devised theater!

What is devised theater?
A collaborative creative process where a new performance piece is developed by an ensemble of artists from scratch, rather than starting with a pre existing script. Here there are no writers, directors, actors or such, everyone will help in all aspects to bring a scene to life!

What are we doing in this session?
We start with around 15 minutes of warm up excersies to get to know our collaborators, we then move on to 45 minutes of creative script writing. We form groups and create scenes based on a template with many famous theater script writing theory sections which will be explained. Lastly, we form acting groups and based on the written scripts, create mini five minutes scenes and perform.

Who is welcome?
We are a highly inclusive community and a safe space, anyone who has a lot of experience in theater or none at all is welcome! You just have a lingering interest? Come by and see if theater is for you!

Any payments?
From our private community, no payment is required, however for guests on Meetup, a fee of 5 euro is charged. After attending three sessions, you are welcome to join the community! Since there are other projects with STAGED!, we aim to have motivated people join for longer term developments :)

What should I bring?
Water is available for free, beer and wine is also available on a "pay as you want" basis. Please bring a pen.

Any rules?
Please be respectful to all the members. Racism, sexism, homophobia and such will not be tolerated, furthermore, due to the limited amount of places available, guests who fail to show up 2 times in 2 months (with no notice 24 hours earlier) will unfortunately be banned, we hope you understand.
